Midnight Poodles is a small hobby kennel specializing in black and brown Miniature Poodles, and black and brown Toy Poodles. We are located between San Francisco and Sacramento. In existence since 1964, we started with show quality Miniatures, and to this day we still have Top Quality dogs.

OUR MOTTO IS QUALITY NOT QUANTITY.

I, Inge Semenschin, was born and raised in Vienna, Austria, and where I come from, when you do something you do it right. Only the finest dogs are used as breeding stock at Midnight. All our breeding stock are show dogs first, and breeding stock second. Our dogs are housedogs and enjoy the best of life. I would not have it any other way.

We have shown at AKC shows for over 35 years and have bred over 100 Champions to date. One of our recent Champions was ranked Nationally # 2 Miniature Poodle.

All our breeding stock are Champions and genetically tested for this breed. All Midnight Miniatures are certified for hips and eyes via OFA and CERF. They are also DNA tested for PRA and all our dogs used for breeding are Optigen "A". They do not carry the PRA gene, they will never develop the prcd form of PRA.

Our puppies are home raised, and raised without any trauma to ensure that you will have a trusting, loving and self-confident little person in your life. Pet puppies are placed with neuter and spay contracts and limited registration.

We use only the best nutrition that is available to us, and our girls are not bred more than two or three times during their lifetime. Many people have come back to us for the second and third time to get one of our kids.
