My name is Beva Wahl and I've had a love of dogs for as long as I can remember! I became attracted to Poodles for their innate intelligence, ease of training and especially for the unique and fun personality of the breed. Poodles provide a constant source of delightful companionship and lively entertainment. In 1964, I began to show a Standard Poodle in AKC obedience events. I then, for the past 40 years, turned my interest to Miniature Poodles. My passion lies in significantly safeguarding the health, temperament and physical characteristics of each generation, striving to perfect the Poodle breed standards set forth by the AKC. The lineage of my Poodles includes Championship and Best in Show titles. I obtain health certifications and provide guarantees.

While I believe each generation should be show quality, selecting one with the most potential for competition, often others are available for placing as loving companions in homes.

Clarion has been breeding and showing Poodles since 1963. Although we breed for the show ring, the most important part of our breeding program is to have well-adjusted, long-lived, athletic “family members”. In addition our Poodles demonstrate intelligence and an enthusiastic love of life.

We have never had a kennel and do not wish to have one. We believe that Poodles are social beings who thrive on human interaction, so our group is and have always been “underfoot” in our home.

Their life at Clarion consists of romps with us and each other on our acreage, hanging out on couches, bowl beds, favorite “caves” under a computer desk, a dresser, or a dinner table and greeting the guests who come and go. Their food is based on natural ingredients with special diets for any elder citizens, pregnant girls, nursing mothers or growing babies.

We are located one half hour south of Sacramento nestled into an area surrounded by small, family-owned wineries.

Health Screening: We do the Optigen blood test for the prcd PRA and we have opthamolic exams to insure against any other eye defects. Also, we do hip X-rays with OFA Ratings. The other miniature and toy genetic problems do not have tests. So, we guarantee our poodles for their lifetime to insure that if something goes wrong, we will be told.

Karadale Poodles has been breeding top quality miniatures since 1967. We live just 1 hour North of Orlando on 7 acres in the small town of Weirsdale. We have been health testing our dogs for many generations. All the health testing can be verified online through the ofa and cerf websites. We specialize in black, brown and white miniatures.
